New York Giant faces drunk driving charge, team rushes to defense

David Diehl, pro athlete and New York Giants star, was charged with drunk driving after allegedly sideswiping parked cars while leaving a bar earlier this month. When police arrived, he allegedly blew .182 on a Breathalyzer test, which led to his arrest on drunk driving charges. The football player spent the night in a stationhouse, but was later released with a suspension of his license at least until his court date next month.

Man assaults New York hospital staff member, bath salts suspected

An Upstate New York man was recently arrested after he reportedly assaulted a hospital security officer while he was receiving treatment in the emergency room. Since the arrest, he has been charged with second-degree assault, as well as fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He is scheduled to appear in court at a later, unspecified date.

24 charged on suspicion of drug trafficking in New York

Recently, 24 people were apprehended for apparent connections to a western New York drug ring that has trafficked drugs throughout most of the state. The individuals arrested on drug charges are all said to have participated in the distribution of illegal substances and are set to be prosecuted using evidence that includes several kilograms of cocaine, as well as $58,000 of seized funds.

Syracuse man driving without tires charged with felony DWI

One Syracuse, New York, man is facing drunk driving charges after witnesses reported him for driving a car that only had two tires. After being reported by a witness for the car being off the road, the man was arrested and charged with a felony-level DWI due to two previous convictions within the last 10 years.
